Design History // Our Chukkas are classic English to the core. First brought over from India by the British Raj, the shoes get their name from the game of Polo (the one with horses) but were later worn by British Forces during WWII, when they were trudging across the Western Desert. What began as a sporting shoe for men who could afford to use horses for sport, later became the boot of choice for military men who had a job to get done
Sizing Info // All of our footwear is built using the same last (form) and is considered true to standard (D width) American sizing. Our last is a little generous through the ball of your foot, for comfort and a little wiggle room. Additionally, this last is a true fashion footwear last, and unlike sneakers, you'll notice a little extra length in the toes.
We recommend that those who traditionally wear half sizes move down to the closest whole size unless you have wider than normal feet.
